Type of Pipes
We don’t want you to navigate a lot. Thus, we have created a list to help you know about all the types of pipes we manufacturer. Being in this industry for one and half decade, we have a good hand on all the products with a huge facility to meet your requirements.
PVC PIPES
PVC stands for Polyvinyl Chloride or simply known as Vinyl and has very good physical properties. It is a highly durable synthetic thermoplastic type used mainly in the making of pipes, medical equipment, cable insulation, etc. This plastic polymer is one of the most widely used and hence manufactured in the world. along with the original strength of the material, it is also electrically and mechanically strong which makes it pro insulation. It is resistant to general wear and tear due to external forces and hence, very durable and not easily perishable. It has some remarkable value against the costs incurred, is lightweight, inorganic chemical-resistant, abrasion-resistant. It requires little to no maintenance and has a significantly longer life span. For most outdoor works, this is the preferred material.
UPVC PIPES
UPVC stands for Unplasticised polyvinyl chloride and is the most widely preferred material for plumbing needs. This plastic type is majorly used for the convenient conveyance of substances in liquid, small solid, powdery and gas states. Earlier, metal was used in its place. Unlike its predecessor, it is rust and corrosion proof, much more long-lasting, and hence, a much more cost-friendly option. They are used in all sorts of residential and commercial projects due to all of their merits. It is harder than PVC, more environment-friendly, light in weight, chemical resistant, durable, and cost-effective!
MDPE PIPE
MDPE stands for Medium Density Polythylene and is a variation of polyethylene, much like the name suggests. It is much lesser dense than its counterpart, HDPE and much denser than LDPE. It is usually used in gas and pipe fittings, construction works, sacks, crossings at rivers, irrigation systems, hydro scheme, screw closures, landfill sites, military land and other such works. It is shock and drop resistant. It is corrosion and stress proof. Apart from its general strength and durability, its toughness is also a major quality check measure. In most western countries, the colour of the MDPE such as black, yellow or blue denotes a lot of its physical properties and uses. Its installation is time and cost friendly.
HDPE PIPES
HDPE stands for High-Density Polythylene and is made from petroleum. It is a thermoplastic polymer used in the production and use of shampoo and water bottles, snowboards, food containers, piping, 3-D printing filament, cutting boards, etc. It is the densest and tensile available material in the market in comparison to its counterparts- the strength to density ratio is very high. It is light in weight, has a rather high melting point, is low maintenance, and long-lasting. Its surface is textured, can be easily melted and molded so HDPE practically excels in the department of malleability! It resists corrosion, rotting and isn’t affected by other such external environmental conditions. Unlike most other plastic materials, it may be easily recycled and reused and is hence more long-term in a sense.
PLB DUCT PIPE
The full form of PLB HDPE Duct Pipes is High-Density Polyethylene Lubricated Duct are majorly used for the laying down optical fiber cable for underground laying. It is resistant to pressure, is crush resistant, and holds strong in the long term. They come in various colors and sizes and offer a great amount of flexibility to the consumers.
